The EAGLES are banged-up and the FLYERS have yet to show up on game day. Losing begats losing. Trust me, I know this being a SHARKS fan. Combined with the fact that the FLYERS have yet to win a game this season, they have a terrible record vs the CANES. In head-to-head competition and they are 1-9 in their last 10. That record speaks for itself.

To start the season we have already had some exciting hockey. How about San Jose’s BIG win last night over Florida? I am a homer as everyone knows… Tonight we head into the 4th night of hockey. Our game has the Boston BRUINS heading up to the Manitoba home of the JETS. When these 2 teams play in Winnipeg the Jets have some success. BUT, without Hellebuyk between the pipes there are a lot of distractions. Boston will come ready to ruin Winnipeg's opening night celebrations.

Tonight, the PANTHERS trave cross-country to San Jose to take on the SHARKS. Their internal clocks may need some adjustments. It is unknown whether or not will be the case with these PANTHERS. San Jose has bee chomping at the bit to find out whether or not they have grown stronger from an off-season of changes. After winning their 1st game in Carolina 2 days ago they travelled cross-country to take on the Macklin Celebrini led SHARKS. San Jose has higher expectation and may be ready to vie for a playoff spot. They have added toughness and won't be intimidated.
Today’s PICK — San Jose SHARKS — +119 — WIN
